Beautiful Place for a Vacation

In July we went to Cancun-- a place called Riu Palace Las Americas. It was nice to be away for a few days, reveling in a fantasy world without work The picture is real.

I would go back again. It's the kind of place that calls you back.

In the sumnmer after I graduated from high school, my Jamaican friend Tony turned me on to Bob Marley one day in the attic of his parent's house. But it wasn't until my third year of college that I stumbled upon the "Uprising" album that contained this song. As I browsed the college record shop, an operation run by students, I came across one of the most upbeat songs I'd ever heard. The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too," Marley sang. "so don't you point your finger because someone else is watching you..............Love your brotherman. Don't let them change you or even try to rearrange you! Oh, we've got a live to live. I was hooked. Ever since, the track has been one of my favorites---a black and universal anthem of love and brotherhood.
